Cash prizes for 1st place in each category.

The top third of competitors (up to 3 total) in each category will qualify for SPL2.

For example: In a category with 9 or more people, the whole podium (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will qualify. If 8 or less people are in a category, only 2 can qualify. If 5 or less people are in a category only 1 can qualify.

DISCIPLINE DESCRIPTIONS

 

SKILL

 

Community Round

  • 30 Minute time limit to complete up to 9 challenges.

  • A half point is awarded for a completed challenge. An athlete cannot receive points for completing a challenge more than one time.

  • Challenges must be completed with specific techniques. Judges on the course will award points only if a challenge is completed in the specified way it has been described at the start of the competition.

  • All athletes will compete on the course at the same time. Physical interference from one athlete to another is strictly prohibited.

Timed Round

  • 2 Minute time limit to complete up to 5 challenges.

  • A full point is awarded for each completed challenge. An athlete cannot receive points for completing a challenge more than one time.

  • One bonus point is reserved for an athlete who completes all 5 challenges in the fastest time.

  • Challenges must be completed with specific techniques. Judges on the course will award points only if a challenge is completed in the specified way it has been described at the start of the competition.

  • One athlete at a time will be on the course.

 

 

SPEED

  • Athletes will attempt to complete the course in the fastest time possible.

  • The course is set with red and yellow flagged checkpoints. Athletes will navigate the course keeping red flags on the right side of their run and yellow flags on the left.

  • Time is set by way of laser timed gates at the start and end of the course. Time starts when the athlete triggers the laser gate by passing through the start line.

 

 

STYLE

 

Line Round

  • Athletes will perform one long form line using any area of the course.

  • Judges will give an overall impression score based on difficulty, connection, and obstacle interaction.

  • Athletes will have one attempt at their line.

  • Lines should be under 15 seconds.
