The Road to SPL 5
To ensure the highest level of competition at the 2026 SPL 5 Parkour World Championships, we have eliminated on-site qualifiers. Every athlete will have earned their spot through victory at elite sanctioned events or placement from the SPL4 Parkour World Championships.
Qualification Criteria
Automatic Qualification (2025 Finalists)
In recognition of sustained elite performance, the top-ranking finalists from the 2025 World Championships are granted automatic entry into the 2026 SPL 5 roster.
Continental Championship Series
The primary method of qualification is through the two major continental leagues. These series are designed to test consistency over a multi-stage season.
European Parkour Championships: Athletes must compete in sanctioned country-level qualifiers to earn a seed at the European Championship (Hal 5, Belgium). Finalists from the European Championship will receive invitations to SPL 5.
United States Parkour Championships (USPK): US-based athletes must progress through a three-tier system: Local Regionals, Regional Championships, and finally the USPK National Championship (HubPTC, USA). Podium placement at the National Championship secures a spot at SPL 5.
Sanctioned International Events
A select number of independent international competitions have been sanctioned as SPL 5 qualifiers. Due to the condensed nature of these events compared to a full league season, only the first-place finisher is awarded qualification.
