SPL5 Finals Pass: Important Membership Terms
Free Broadcasts and Finals Access
The SPL5 Prelims on Friday, August 21 and Semifinals on Saturday, August 22 are free to watch across SPL broadcast platforms. The Championship Finals on Sunday, August 23 are available exclusively through the SPL5 Finals Pass membership level on the Sport Parkour League YouTube channel.
The lower-priced SPL Supporter membership does not include access to the Championship Finals livestream or Finals replay. Viewers must be signed into a YouTube account with an active SPL5 Finals Pass membership to access this content.
Recurring Monthly Membership
The SPL5 Finals Pass is a recurring monthly YouTube channel membership. It is not a one-time event ticket or single pay-per-view charge. The membership begins when the purchase is completed and automatically renews each month until the member cancels it or changes to another membership level. YouTube channel memberships are processed as monthly payments through YouTube.
By purchasing the SPL5 Finals Pass, the member authorizes YouTube or the applicable payment provider to continue charging the membership price on each billing date until the membership is canceled or changed.
Pricing and Currency
All prices advertised by Sport Parkour League for SPL5 are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. The final price displayed by YouTube may vary depending on the member’s country or region, applicable taxes, currency and the platform used to complete the purchase. The price shown by YouTube during checkout is the amount that will be charged.
Canceling or Downgrading After SPL5
After the event, members may either:
Cancel the SPL5 Finals Pass completely.
Downgrade to the lower-priced SPL Supporter membership to continue supporting Sport Parkour League.
Remain at the SPL5 Finals Pass level and continue receiving the associated membership benefits.
We recommend that members set a personal reminder after the event to cancel or downgrade their membership if they do not wish to be charged for another month.
Canceling stops future renewal charges, but membership access and benefits generally continue through the end of the member’s existing billing period. Downgrading does not take effect immediately: the member retains the original membership level until the next billing date, when the lower membership price and benefits take effect.
Members are responsible for reviewing their billing date and completing any cancellation or membership-level change before the next charge is processed.
Managing Your Membership
YouTube memberships must be managed through the YouTube or Google account used to purchase the membership. Members can generally review their next billing date and manage their membership through YouTube’s paid-memberships settings.
Sport Parkour League cannot individually:
Cancel or pause a member’s YouTube membership.
Downgrade or upgrade a member’s membership level.
Change a member’s billing date or payment method.
Access a member’s YouTube or Google billing account.
Stop a pending or completed YouTube charge.
Process or approve a membership refund.
Sport Parkour League also cannot remove an individual person from the membership program on that person’s behalf. YouTube controls membership administration and has sole discretion over membership refund requests.
Members experiencing billing, cancellation or account-access problems must contact YouTube Support. Members who purchased through Apple must contact Apple regarding eligible billing disputes or refund requests.
Refunds
Canceling a membership does not ordinarily create a refund for the unused portion of the current billing period. YouTube does not generally provide refunds or credits for partially elapsed membership periods.
Any refund request must be submitted directly to YouTube or, when applicable, Apple. Refund eligibility and approval are determined exclusively by the applicable platform and its policies. Sport Parkour League cannot promise, approve or issue a refund on YouTube’s or Apple’s behalf.
If a membership perk is defective, unavailable or does not perform as represented, the member may contact YouTube Support to request consideration for a refund. Approval is not guaranteed.
Finals Livestream and Replay Access
The SPL5 Finals Pass includes access to the Championship Finals livestream and the Finals replay while the member continues to have access to the required membership level.
A member who cancels will ordinarily retain Finals Pass access until the end of the current billing period. A member who downgrades will ordinarily retain Finals Pass access until the next billing date, when the lower membership level takes effect. After access to the Finals Pass level ends, the Finals livestream archive and replay may no longer be available through that account.
Sport Parkour League may later release, rebroadcast, edit or otherwise distribute portions of the event at its discretion. Purchasing a membership does not guarantee permanent ownership, download rights or lifetime access to the broadcast.
Schedule and Technical Availability
Published broadcast times are based on the planned event schedule and may change because of competition delays, production requirements, safety issues or circumstances outside Sport Parkour League’s reasonable control.
Live broadcasts depend on internet service, venue infrastructure, YouTube availability, viewer equipment and other third-party systems. Sport Parkour League will make reasonable efforts to deliver the scheduled livestream and provide replay access, but uninterrupted or error-free playback cannot be guaranteed.
Members experiencing playback problems should first confirm that they:
Are signed into the YouTube account used for the purchase.
Have joined at the SPL5 Finals Pass level.
Have an active internet connection and compatible device.
Are opening the official SPL members-only Finals broadcast.
The YouTube Join button may not appear on every platform or eligible watch page. Where necessary, viewers may need to join from the channel homepage, a web browser or a computer.
Members-Only Chat and Conduct
Access to members-only chat is subject to YouTube’s Community Guidelines and SPL’s community standards. Sport Parkour League may moderate, hide or block comments or live-chat participation when necessary. Restriction from commenting or participating in chat does not automatically cancel the underlying YouTube membership or create a right to a refund.
Platform Terms
The SPL5 Finals Pass is purchased and administered through YouTube. By joining, members also agree to YouTube’s Paid Terms of Service, YouTube’s Terms of Service, Google’s Privacy Policy and any applicable Apple or Google Play billing terms. Eligibility requirements, payment processing, account administration and refunds remain subject to those platform rules.
These SPL5 terms supplement the applicable YouTube and payment-platform terms. Where there is a conflict concerning billing, cancellation, refunds or platform access, the applicable YouTube, Google or Apple terms and decisions control.
Questions
Sport Parkour League can assist with general questions about the SPL5 schedule, included Finals Pass content and locating the correct livestream. Account-specific questions involving charges, refunds, cancellations, payment methods or YouTube account access must be directed to YouTube or the applicable payment provider.
